Transformative Journal  Hi and a very good day to to our respective lecturers and my fellow classmates. Currently I am in my second semester for this course and I took this Social Engagement course because this is a compulsory course for everyone to graduate from the university and also because my lecturer advised us that 2nd semester is the perfect time to take this course. So, I decided to take this course for this semester so confidently.        I registered in this GIG1005 Social Engagement course since it is one of the recommended course for this semester and it was mentioned of being the last semester to offer it. I was not sure about what we were required to do in this course at first but right after the first meeting with our supervisor, Dr Zalfa, I managed to get a better understanding on the flow of the course. In group 6 itself, we were divided into smaller groups of five and I was in Team B with my four other teammates (Roketah, Phavinna, Santiya and Jian Jian). Hello good day to everyone. My name is Santiyapriya and I'm currently pursuing my degree In Bachelor Of Accounting. I am in  my second semester and i took the Social Engagement course as a part of my subjects.  - Before the event  To be honest i find this course to be quite unique since there's no any weekly lectures or tutorials instead we have to conduct projects. At first i was quite nervous since I'm someone who's not really good in communicating with others and I'll have anxiety attacks if i do so. Project Title Your Ticket to Success: Excel in Accounting Subject and Planning for Future Endeavours.  Planning Stage  At first, it was very difficult for me to come up with an idea on what project should we do because we need to do it virtually and also related with our course which is Accounting. About two or three days, I tried to think about what project that can benefits students in long-term during this pandemic, I got some ideas which is do an online talk about sharing our experiences relating to pathway after finishing up our pre-university level, tips of university intake for degree and scholarship also we do have guest transfer student from Monash University, from Australia.   Pre-Event First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Zalfa, our Program Supervisor of Social Engagement, for guiding us throughout our project “2 Days Free Online Seminar”. In the beginning, I was pretty clueless as to what Social Engagement would be all about. After the first Social Engagement Briefing meeting held on 19 March 2021, I realized that I was assigned to Group 6, which will be supervised by Dr. Zalfa. After the first meeting with Dr. Zalfa, I only got a better understanding of this course. We were then divided into four small groups. I had formed a group of 5 with my friends - Racheal, Shafirah, Pei Fen, and Rachel. After that, we had a short discussion about the event we planned to organize related to our course of study.
